My Story
I am is a Registered Dietitian with a passion for childhood and family nutrition. I am a mother to my pigeon pair, Emily and Kade, whom I love more than anything . Being a mom and wife myself ,I understand the importance of feeding your family right.
I studied my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at the University of Kwazulu Natal (UKZN) followed by my Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics also through UKZN.
After qualifying, I completed my community service year in Northern KZN before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2008. After working in various settings there I discovered my special interest for working with families.
I have a passion for paediatric nutrition and spent a large majority of my time in the UK working in weight management of children including those underweight as well overweight. I ran healthy lifestyle workshops for families and also dealt with many fussy eating cases.
Home beckoned though and so in 2012 I moved home where I worked in the private sector mainly in the pediatric field as well corporate sector.
In 2014 I took the risk and decided to open my own practice . I have been fortunate to work in a wide variety of nutrition related fields. I have a passion for people and helping them wherever they are in their walk of life to achieve overall balance and wellbeing. I also work alot with corporate companies helping their employees to make healthier choices.
I have a special interest in all fields pertaining to infants, children and woman and more recently am currently studying further in the field of genetics and nutrition.
I love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen and also enjoy the outdoors. I enjoy running as well as pushing my limits in the gym.
